Hello and welcome to my website! I'm Captain Ricky Stanczyk, and I look forward to hopefully fishing with you soon! If your interested in fishing in the Florida Keys, then you want to make sure you book a guide who knows what he is doing. Going on vacation to fish and hiring the wrong person can ruin your trip! I was born and raisesd in Islamorada, and my family owns the world famous Bud N' mary's Marina. I've been fishing here my entire life, and most of my family are captains in town as well. I run a 20' SeaCraft, which is one of the most comfortable fishing boats around. Unlike most backcountry skiffs, I can comfortably take three or even four customers, and fish in conditions that most guides wouldn't consider since I run a solid SeaCraft bay boat rather than a 'flats skiff.' I do mostly reef fishing, gulf fishing, backcountry, tarpon, and occasionally sailfish or dolphin fish if the weather is ideal. If you want to be able to fish where the big charter boats do, but are not a large group and don't want to dish out $1200 or more for a charter boat, then give me a call! I promise you'll enjoy yourself and want to come back again!
You can e-mail me directly by clicking the link below, or call me on my cellphone at 305-747-6903. Hope to hear from you soon! |

Offshore/Reef Fishing
Offshore fishing in the Florida Keys is world renown! We have a year round fishery of many different types of fish. From sailfish and marlin, to dolphin and tuna, even cobia, grouper, mackeral, and snappers galore! There is always something to be caught. Snapper/grouper fishing on the reef is usually good year round, and in the winter time there are lots of big mackeral, sailfish, and cobia. Summer time brings dolphin and tuna offshore, which if the wind is not too bad we can make a day out of!

One very unique thing about the Florida Keys is the convergance of the Gulf of Mexico with Florida Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. This produces an amazing area known as the Florida Everglades, where all kinds of fish live and spawn. Most well known fish include Bonefish, Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Redfish, Trout, and many others. The time of year has a lot to do with what fishing is best, though there is always something exciting to catch in these waters! Fishing the Gulf is very exciting and often produces the most variety of fish!
